if create a COOL =) map base on ffa_bespin (from "jedi knight II" jk2)
if someone wants to finish my work with texture this map =)

i only have not the time to finish =) if someone is intrested mail back and i will finish the map and you may texture it =)
hopefully it has a chance to get into the 1.2 release =)

the map isn't meant to be used with tremulous, the layout absolutly sucks...

and nobody can texture a bsp file, try another idea instead of copying the file from jk...

Hmmm yup bespin did quite well in jk2 but not in trem.....
Atcs is the trem version.
And you need the .map file for texture alterarions!!!!!!!
Dont bother with this.

omg its not a copy bahh

it is a remake ...
if i wanted a copy i had decompiled the original one
and this is a bsp file in order that someone can have a look at it

i didnt want to publish only the map file because this could cause to many diffrent versions .........

what's the point in asking us to texture it if you're not supplying us with the .map

EDIT; this may actually work, there's the open spots, but there's a lot of corners to get around.

i think everyone who can texture a map in a good way knows howto decompile a bsp file .....
well i f noone is intrested this porject will die xD

Maybe if your map wasn't absolutely horrible, someone could indeed be arsed to texture it.

Oh, and texturing has nothing to do with decompiling, so no, not all great texturers can map/decompile.

One must be able to apply textures to texture a map. As well as the fact that during decompile all the current texture co-ordinates are lost.

Some people who can texture/make texture cannot map. Is that clearer for you.

Also, just because you can texture does not mean you can decompile.

The map actually has no textures, only caulk and some atcs texture in the walls that separates the map from the void.

i can finish this map in 1 or 2 days this souldnt be a problem there s 1/5 missing (i dont copy the duel plat from jk2 because it would be a gamekiller
humans would be invincible there =))

i have to add some floors the most important thing is i have to enshure, that mostly every pace is reachable with tyrant =) (one small place will not be reachable (not enough space for a human base maybe 2 turrets in a pipe)

every map i ever concepted failed because i am to dump to find the rihgt textures .... it looks more crazy than good

why should noone use textures from atcs ...
this would make the final pk3 much smaller because you use textures form the basic maps ....
