Is it possible to go into 3rd person view on tremulous? If so, please show how o.o I like third person better than first.

in stock tremulous third person view is cheat protected because it lets you look around corners.

I think we should discuss how much looking around corners will give you an advantage;

Humans - Will be able to see their defeat before it happens. Will be able to charge a luci early. However, if you have a luci you should have a helmit. No help.

Aliens - They have a radar, looking around a corner to see what's coming is not beneficial since they can pop out their head to check and easily get to safety due to their high mobility.

Humans in s1 get a massive advantage against hiding dretches (as all good dretches should be tbh) If they're waiting behind a door or similar a few quick binds will reveal them to you without any real threat to your wellbeing.
Being able to see a couple of feet behind your own head could also save your live if you're helmetless against that sneaky dretch you missed. Plus, it isn't great for atmosphere or realism to see yourself as some little character several metres away.
