I looked through some of the other suggestions and didn't see this one, so here goes.  The duration for which the aliens get the poison effect after touching a Booster should be increased somewhat, so that they can use it while hunting for humans (like they do).  Right now, you really can't wait for very long at all until it wears off.

Maybe it's just a design decision to make the booster a defensive structure.

It isn't really a defensive structure, to use for offense you need to make a forward base, works quite well when humans are pinned down inside their base most of the game.

When humans are pinned down inside their base, they have healing pad close by - they can heal there and restore medikits often.
Anyway, booster's value is questionable. For aliens, the most problematic attacks are those with battlesuits, and booster does almost nothing to help here.
Bigger aliens don't need poison - in their case it's simply too dangerous to let poison do its work. Bigger aliens could use it to regenerate faster, but fatties have hard time navigating, and retreating to booster makes you lose time/momentum.
f you have a demo of ass-kicking basilisk playing against experienced opponents, ESPECIALLY in later stages, send it to me.

Dude... Booster increases the healing rate of aliens, it allows for constant attacking, poison is awesome for kami dretches too, get a headshot on a helmetless human with poison and they're as good as dead. During an alien attack on humans, the medpad gets used by a lot of people, so sometimes you just don't get there in time. Booster can be used quite effectively for offensive use, at least  in a good alien team (which I doubt you've seen yet, considering your other posts).

Well we tried a forward booster in one game. It didn't seem to help much, though most of the team (including me) wasn't quite aware of advanced healing at that point. I guess it's mainly a point of educating the team: boosters aren't just for poison. Seeing how we used a siege tactic with tyrants in that game accelerated healing might well have been the better of the two effects.

I almost always try to get a forward booster up when we reach stage two. It's just too useful not to have one to speed up the attack/retreat cycle.

Booster is not useful on more open/complex maps, because your eggs are probably spread all over the map. But it works on simpler ones.

One thing that bothers me with booster is that touching it doesn't refresh your poison/regen. For example, IF booster lasts 30 seconds (I have no idea), and your boost will run out in 5 seconds, you can't just touch booster and refresh your boost. You either have to forget it, or wait patiently 5 seconds and then touch it.

I'm fairly sure I read somewhere that the booster regeneration bonus doesn't help tyrants. Tyrants already have a regeneration aura that helps other little creatures around them, although not other tyrants. They might be the same aura (booster aura and tyrant aura).

True, but even in a tyrant assault there are plenty of other creatures around (think maurader / dragoon).

And yes, I did overlook that ;).

If it would, somebody could just camp at the booster and give him a too big advantage.
