Would you be interested in something like TremDigg?
« on: June 09, 2007, 05:33:46 am »
I know how to make a site that is very similar to digg.com, with the voting system and the other stuff, and was wondering, is the community interested in something like this. I could host it on my website, or set it up on some one elses.

What are your thoughs.

As long as the moron's don't touch it, seems to be a good way to keep updated on new mod's, maps and, new OMGWTF(aimbots, wallhacks, GUIDstealing, etc) items.

Oh and sounds good to promote clans as well. Heh.

All depends on the plebs.

Is there really enough news to justify it?

I seriously doubt this small community can generate enough content to make something like that worthwhile. I know many many people who read EVERY thread on the forums. As long as thats possible, you haven't reached critical mass as far as content generation is concerned.

Not to mention all the stupid kiddie submissions and spam you will get.

Soon i will launch a similar system, but for my code snippets library.
