Right click with a shotgun.

It's a nade launcher.

I'd like to see a faster ROF, along with nades using up only 2 ammo, due to their lack of damage.

Nobody cares that they take lots of ammo, shotty nades are overpowered as it is IMO.

Very good job, nice :). I have fun at last weekend, but i missed balance. I think aliens have in this mod easier.

hay this mode rox!
(yeah it does) just have strange immpresion that i have to learn to play once again... all this sickness and adv dretches.
this cloak+biopack just kicks ass:P playing full power human s3 makes u feel like a immortal predator - well its only a feeling cos than u meet adv :tyrant: :D
this mod is very good 4 a good players who think(ESPECIALLY HUMAN team needs a good thinking players)
this mod makes game more rapid and thrilling:) and you're right xael looks splendidly... but does no damage... Great job! (even lasergun has a zoom;D)

I have some gripes about some things here:
Cloak should really be a separate armor, not an add-on upgrade to anything & everything.
Surge was somewhat broken, but nerfing the lasgun doesn't quite make up for it, as this screws over the people who use lasgun without surge. Make it 1.5x instead of 2x.
Make a healing gun separate from a ckit, with some extra feature.
Drill AND Infection on the adv dretch? Pick one or the other, kinda gimmicky.
Advanced Tyrants can do unlimited  acid blob runs between their booster and the human base, two of them can level it easily. In fact, an alien grenade of that strength should definitely be once-only. The fact that it costs 6 to upgrade only restricts it to the kill-whores, who can easily hold on to it long enough to pay for itself.

I played Trem for a long time and always stayed away form the forums, but now, I have to write something about this: your mod has potential, but all serious players will stay away just because of some ultra-lame feaures, like the infection :-?

The first thing this mod needs is some balancement: the first version of Xael was too powerful, the latest is more difficult to use and imprecise than the luci.

BTW what about making barrricades weaker, but adding the possibility to fire from behind them ? I ask this because barricades receives a big amount of friendly fire and they make it more difficult to shoot attacking aliens.

Hmm, great idea. Like it very much. Barricades allowing bullets go through would be helpful:)

Edit: BTW talking bout great ideas i have one :wink:
almost noone use ammo pack with rifle, so i have an idea:
ammo-pack could extend default rifle clip size to something like 45-60 bullets (without extending number of clips) it would make less recharge time wich in direct battle could give u more chance to survive, that wouldnt be really nice  :)

Too helpful, to be honest. The idea is you get a skilful base builder who blocks out the larger aliens while still allowing mgturrets or other players to fire through the arrowslit windows. If you find you can't hit anything because a barricade is in the way, then move the barricade.

Infection is a truly fantastic idea, but the implementation is I fell somewhat lacking. It's not clear enough to new players what is happening, and it is even less clear how and when you can get rid of it. Infection goes hand-in-hand with the drill because you use it to jump over turrets and hit the campers behind.

My own personal gripes are only two: the adv granger lockblobs are too powerful, and the adv tyrant just absorbs too much fire. It would be nice to have acid grenades that regenerated both more consistently and somewhat slower than they do currently, but this is no great issue.
Also, infection is buggy in conjunction with poison.

Overall though, tremx is certainly the best Tremulous mod in existence (not counting tjw as a mod) in almost every field.

Maybe you're right, but adv Tyrants can easly snipe over the barricades, and thats not very helpful :) anyways couldn't it just be immune to FF (or make human could go through it)?

The beauty of TremX is that it doesn't try to be a 'balance' or 'pro' mod. It does not create any expectation it will never be able to meet. That's what makes the odd game of TremX fun.
