Update: I added an AppleScript to do this on Mac + iTunes.
Update: I added instructions for setting it up on Windows with Winamp.

If someone wants to make it with that then they can, but imo having to use an SDK to get iTunes to output the text isn't worth it, but also imo you shouldn't be using iTunes unless you're on a Mac and it's the best you got.

Someone needs a server side mod that ban people who use this.

Its a game, a game where sound is very important.
This is worse than those IRC morons who spam what there listening to.

Whether you listen to music while playing is a personal preference. When I'm in a situation involving a painsaw, a grenade and alien base, the only thing missing is "Destroy All" by StaticX.

But I think that that's rather useless information for most other players. Think of it like this:

Put a .wav music file in a "music" folder in the base folder and type /play [song] and listen to music. I the game is running off ioQuake3, then mp3's will work as well.

@Para: Very nice. Typo on "recently" and TinMan has a capital M. =P
And I don't use "trackback" links, Wordpress supports automatic pingbacks, it's less prone to spam that way.

They're not something that shows, your server pings the wp-site, it gets teh hook-up and wp generates a pingback comment.
