The icon does have some color issues.. and a not really being specifically related to trem issue.

I think you did well on the shape of the icon (really clever Overmind outline, with a touch of "mech" to it), but it's problematic when you design icons at the size that you did. Is it really necessary to design at 709x709? There's way to much detail in that image. I think it would be better if you re-did it, starting at a more "normal" size, 256x256 at most.

Since Kaleo seems to have slacked off , I decided to make Windows icons for him. I still don't like the process behind the design (and therefore the end result), but I imagine someone out there is waiting for this.

I personally like the shape, but don't think it suits Tremulous very well. It reminds me of certain tribal tattoos, and tribal is not exactly a word I associate with Tremulous.

Like stated, its a nice icon, but I personally wouldnt use it.
Just doesnt fit Tremulous that well-
Trem deserves a 'jokey' icon (Eg: The tyrant in sunglasses)

It's Icon Composer. It comes with Xcode. Mac-only, if that's an issue for you.

As for the .zip of .ico files, that was made with the Gimp. Oh yeah, I had to scale your image (it was freakin huge, are you crazy designing that big?) with the Gimp, too.
