I'm agreeing. However, I think that there should be a "Change Name" button or something in your Profile. For all the people that do this kind of thing.

Another Example is the "Fork Scandal" I'm talking about our multiple-personality friend / enemy  :wink:

.fork, fork, vxcexct, pfb, etc, are the same person, just with ummm...split personalities.. Therefore, instead of making a new name seemingly at random, he could rename, thereby keeping his post-count.

Speaking of his post count, although I have not tried, if you added all his posts together, from all his personalities, I would bet that there would be around 2000.
