its .pk3 in base and i cant devmap it HELP ME (again)

i learned the basics of gtk radieat thatks for all the help but have a problems  what am i doing wrong!!! i made a map without textures (yes i did ad spon points) saved it on my desktop as 123.map i then changed the name to 123.pk3 put it in my base folder devmaped it /devmap 123 when that didn't work i devmaped atcs then whent under game and look for my map it wasn't there. i googled it what i did seemed right besides the fact that it doen't work.

A .pk3 is a renamed .zip file.

First you must compile the .map into a .bsp, then you need to pack the .bsp into a .pk3

Use winzip or another zip utility to do this. Inside the .zip file put the .bsp inside a directory called maps.

Then change the extension from .zip to .pk3 and move the file to tremulous/base

If you want to /devmap your map without packing it then put the .bsp into tremulous/maps then do a /set sv_pure 0 before /devmap.
