And you heard/saw this where? Afaik they don't plan on reducing the price at all, and if they ever do it will probably be 50$ at the most.

PS3's already cost more to make than what they're sold for.

And then once there are 2 threads the common forum poster is unable to control themselves and you begin to see lots of threads with the same type of title.. and that is the loop... or is it?.. maybe it some inside joke we all have and are enjoying and you just will never know because you decided to not pay attention....


I was a playstation person until the Xbox360.. the system is awesome. I expect interest in the Wii to plummet eventually, and maybe long long down the line when the PS3 isn't such a pain to develop for it may pick up in sales and POSSIBLY even pull ahead, but for now a price drop only brings it into minor contention.. the lack of games and my lack of faith in sony as a company, and similar feelings of others, will keep it where it is.
The slim PSP though I might be up for.
