Noclip bases

Well here is something I thought of:

How about people use /noclip on /devmap (or whatever) and make a cool and/or weird base that you normally can not make in a real game. This is just for fun, however I'll give a cookie to whoever can make the wierdest/coolest base. Here is an example I made quickly, however I know it  isn't the best, but it's an example. So, just for fun post really weird bases you made.   Here is mine:

I made a base on the outside of transit just yesterday..it was an armory fortress. Building models fall through the grating on the two big cylinders, and they stack, so its easy to make a 3D fortress :} o grate...

If anyone goes to Tremor and noclips, you will see off to the side of the map somewhere (You have to go under the map and look up while noclipping) there are 2 halls that were never implemented into the game.  One of them is a fun base if you put aliens on the top of the slope and humans on the bottom area.  I'll get a screenshot asap.  My friend has a layout of it on -GH- Clan Server.

highrise is a crazy map. with the secret area that is shown in yetshi's post, go into tthe hallway and you can crouch into that hole in the wall and drop into a cave. be sure to bring a jetpack. only basis and dretchs can fit, so the humans cant lose if they build there.

I tried to build there again, this time not during the game. (last one was on last summer with others playing at the same time : p)
I could fit another tesla/turret under the armory, but I never found the the spot(I knew where it was, but the constant movement of jetpack distrubes). Overall I think there are even more places in those walls to mount turrets and other buildings.

This is an infinite bp base I made in Tremor, but I forgot I wasn't in dev map until I was half way done.





Lots of turrets and teslas, is there any way to make build times instant, because it took a while to build 120 turrets?
I tried getting into that base as an alien, and got 1 fps.

...We used to have a thingy on one of our MG servers where you could reset the build timer for base testing.
You might want to ask papercut/yetshi/tehpaper, khalsa/gursihk, or tuple/tuples .You might be able able to reach them easily on our IRC chan (check my location).

I think there's something in the !layout patch that has insta-build.

All recent qvms (with TJW's layout system) have insta-build in devmap.
