Wtf!! I was Named 3 when i entered (cuz i forgot my name was 3 in white, since i switched to my old AutoGen.cfg) and i enter, said like 3 words which were: Hi there, benmachine?

and some douche just bans me, for reason: Name

seriously WHAT THE FUCK? I have a valid GUID, im not fucking aimbotting (and havent for weeks)!

Why cant you first check if the person has a valid GUID before banning eh? This sux, and it was so fast... i was literally in the game for 6 seconds!

seriously, don't most admins/servers insta-ban number names?  they fuck with the !kick system on most qvms right?

Dude... i switched to my OLD AutoGen.cfg... its not my fucking fault... besides, i got a GUID, most ppl who aimbot use number names (to avoid kicks) and have no GUID

It is your fault - 3 is a known griefer, and to be honest you should have checked what your name was if you'd switched to an old autogen. I would have banned you outright with that name, and so would most admins. But it seems like you're not looking to reason with anyone...

A valid GUID doesn't prove anything, they can still grief and shit. It doesn't matter if they have one. It won't remove their ability to shoot a gun, spam, or decon a structure.

As for the name, I'm all for the ban.

Oh and most people here don't care about your ban nor can they do anything about it.

3 *is* a known griefer. On the whole, it's less risky to just ban and be done with it than hang around asking questions. As a server admin your priority is to preserve the game for the majority of your clientele- even if there are innocent "casualties".
No, this wasn't your fault necessarily - but they're not to blame either. It's just bad luck. Get over it, and wait another 23 hours or so.

Playing with an evasive name isn't cool, you're lucky it was only a kick-ban (30min).

Nothing makes a GUID "valid" currently, it's easy as pie to get one, ditch it for a new one, or spoof somebody else's.

Long have I waited for that "3" to be exposed :) Hello there dude :) I think you should know better than to choose evasive names and then act all pissed off about getting b& at first sight...

If you are innocent (which I doubt) think first: If you reinstall trem, get to an empty server to make your settings :) you don't need to sit half hours with namechangeing and binding in a busy server...

Are you accusing me of being 3 as well? its my first time EVER using that number... i usually choose 4 anyway, and that was for 1 day... and as a matter of fact, i havent been playing much, been playing UT2004, and a few other games

umm...

its in the old config because... i was playing with names, and this was like a while ago and its because my name was ^4Evlesoa+^3Zirra and when i erased it, it became ^4Evlesoa+3333333333333333333333333333 and then i erased everything and became 333333333333333333333333333333333 and eventually it was only 1 left... dont ask me... its confusing to explain, but the colors i had, fucked my name up some how where i couldnt erase it, the 3s just came back

We are not interested in the injustices which have befallen on you which would have befallen on any other player with the same cause, the fact that you might have not done it intentionally means NOTHING. If any admins on any server suspect a threat they are damn well permitted to act on it on their own server.

And if you think I am doing this because it is you, then you're right.
Now shut up, move on, get a new guid and quit with this shit for real.
