Game won't load

I recently got kubuntu, i downloaded and installed tremulous and installed the driver for nvidia out of adept but when i go to run the game it loads but then nothing happens? and this is what i get when i try to run it in the konsole:

Sys_Error: GLimp_Init() - could not load OpenGL subsystem

The most common error ever, and also in the FAQ :)

You need to install the drivers for your graphics card.  I'm assuming your on windows, so it'll be as simple as running a installer and rebooting.

Now, seeing as how I don't have a Linux, I have no clue what I'm looking for, but this site looks to be what you need. In the first column, choose "Graphics Card". In the second, choose what kind. And in the third, choose one of the Linuxs. Then click go, which is below the bottom left corner of the first column.

Hope this helps, sorry if it doesn't.

EDIT: Okay, it may or may not be of help. I have no idea what the different versions of Linux are like.

I only looked at the last line....

That like will work for nvidia cards, although the version in the restricted repos is probably easier.

Your X server doesn't have the proper modeline for 640x480. Either start tremulous in window or in your current desktop resolution.

r_mode 3 = 640x480
r_mode 4 = 800x600
r_mode 5 = 1024x768
r_mode 6 = 1152x864
r_mode 7 = 1280x1024
r_mode 8 = 1600x1200

If you use none of the resolutions above, then set this (eg. for 1280x800):
r_mode -1
r_customwidth 1280
r_customheight 800
