GLITCH ENCOUNTERED!!! funny as :P

I was just playing on my clanserver (<AT>). I was a dretch and was just walking along when I heard what sounded like a battlesuit. I turned my volume up and heard that each of my tiny dretch footsteps was a battlesuit's. When I jumped, I heard the battlesuit noise. I got my clanleader, Kaleo to record it. To run, drag it to the demo folder (not sure where on Windows; I'm running TJW's mac port) and run with the command:

Indeed. This bug was a common one before it was fixed some time ago. I guess some servers have yet to be updated.

On an updated server, humans where S1, a person gets killed. But when he dropped dead to the floor, he suddenly changed into a Bsuit for a brief second. I wasn't the only one to see it, the guys next to me went "S3??".

On another occasion a human with a flamethrower with bad connection (he was warping for me, or maybe it was me with a bad connection) was going around doing his continuous  flamethrowing. When he got killed, there was a continuous flame right at the spot where he died and it didn't go away. I asked the others but nobody saw it. I demoed it, but when i watched the demo it wasn't there. Also when i returned to the server the flame was gone. Must have been a byte that got stuck on my client then (or the packet containing the flame off signal was lost in space). These two things happened only once. I just file them under supernatural experiences in Trem or Tremulous X Files

Yeah, but the Bsuited dretch I haven't seen since a while. Most servers I play on are luckely updated regularely.

As for the flame incident, is there a way to view ones jitter or lost packages status in trem? Could be kind off usefull to have that next to the ping status.

I dunno about you, but I once got stuck in a live goon as a dretch O.o Humans managed to kill me but not the goon >_> Aliensuit Bug FTW!

That die and turn into bsuit thing happened to me.

Get a jetpack and die, as soon as you die press your itemact jpack button, you'll be there standing up with your jetpack for a bit.

that's a bug in tjw's unfinished antiwarp code.

just a wall of teslas and then there was also god mode on. so of course like a nub i used it TEEHEEHEE. i kept getting shocked and then  i ran out of that base. then i turn god off to fight some other tyrant. TYRANT VS TYRANT WOOT:      

then everytime i got hit byhim or i hit him. a spark of electricty would pop up like it was shocking me. i was like thats annoying. so i just kept playin gthinkign it was koo. just a lil story of my own

I saw that, too, although it was my flaming that was left over. I did the whole demo thing, too.

Oddly enough, moving the spectator camera around caused the flame to move around, but then it went back to its normal position. :/

I bet the person who died on the floor was an admin. Its a fun bug in the Slap system, allowing you to turn into a bsuit if you slap yourself right after you die. You can also turn on a jetpack and have your corpse float there like a normal human. Good tyrant bait.

As for the flamer, you can do a similar effect with jetpack smoke and prifle shot.

i did the lightning tyrant with the teslas, decided to do a massive glitch hunt with me mate, ended up having a tyrant with a random flame and lightning bolt attached, then i started shooting him with a luci and got an awesome look at this tyrant that looked like a bad special effect....
