Outdoor maps?

Mabey a map with an outdoor sceme to it? Right now every map is indoors ala-Quake 3.

Is it a limitation on the Quake engine to be able to render outdoor environements well?

Overflow is nearly finished a mostly outside map. I think I read somewhere on the forums about someone else making an outside map as well.
