Humans Camp - Humans Lose

Humans Go out and destroy alien base causing run out of ammo - Dretch gets him: HUMANS LOSE

Aliens Camp & get goon - Humans lose

Humans go out and destroy alien base2 - Dretch goes Basi, Basi rapes base, goes goon, and wins

I wanna know why ppl do 1 on 1, it is in no way to test real skill!

Because they feel like it? Just because it doesn't prove anything doesn't mean they can't be fun. Being competitive isn't about being picky about who you face and how you face them. It's usually about simply going up against another person or a group of people and trying to win, even though sometimes there's only a slim chance you could win. It's not about being like, "Shit, I'll lose. I won't play." It's about being like, "Sure, I'll play, and even though the odds are against me, I'm gonna give him hell and try anyways."

Because 1 on 1 can be fun to practice dodging and overall close combat skills? The 1 on 1 I usually play have no emphasis on spawns/base destruction at all.
For camping in a 1 on 1 I see no use at all except seeing time pass slowly.

Well Evlesoa, most people don't play with idiots like you, and establish rules which must be followed in 1v1s, such as:
No base killing until one player is Stage 3.  
No camping for evos/because you are scared.  
No building.
No cheap wins, like losing 10-1, evolving to basi and killing the nodes.

When such rules are used, combat abilities may be seen and improved, etc.  1v1s do prove something.

Easy way:  No going near each others base, first to 10 kills.

Still sucks and unbalanced, but can be fun.

I had a really fun one-on-one ageist khalsa a while ago.  He's way better than me, but the map was so insanely large that I could always have at least 5 eggs, and even with radar it took him ages to get them all.  Then I goon'd his base and lost .

But trappers rule in 1v1.  Get them well and truly stuck, and then leave them.  They have to /kill. .
Hopefully gives you enough time to get there nodes.

1v1 usually does not go like that anyways, I have many 1vs1 and it works out great, kind of never happened the way you said it.  I always build and get some credits and get a painsaw to finish the job.

most the time when i 1 on 1 we dont build or camp we just fight in the hall of ATCS or some other map and go to see whose first to 21 kills, and i know kills arent everything but there a start

1v1s are quite fun  - heh, I even often play them offline (me + friends hook up on LAN, and go for 'best of 15 kills'.)
Its a lot of fun.

I have played many 1 vs 1's and lost few.  I always know aliens should win, but that doesnt always happen.  

Best way to win as human is build a few rets and rush with rifle, taking out acids from the hall on atcs. Either the dretch comes out to play. Or you eventually get far enough into his base to kill him.  If there smart they will just try to ignore you as long as its only acids ur killing.

1v1 is completely and totally pointless. It takes a very little amount of skill, and if alien gets goon, humans are donefor, given that they are of equal skill or the alien is of higher skill.

How does it not take skill?  Fighting is still involved.

Human strategy: Don't die 3 times before you reach s2. Comments such as 'if the alien gets a goon humans are done for' are completely pointless and stupid.  I could just as easily say 'if the human gets s2/s3 aliens are done for.'

With a few rules, such as the ones I previously suggested, 1v1s are very fun and do prove something.

1vs1 is fun as hell. If you can't modify your strategies for 1vs1 then you don't deserve to be playing it. If you need to complain about 1vs1 then you don't deserve to be playing games altogether.

You got mad at me, and challenged me to a 1 vs 1 in OPP server, in which I easily won both aliens AND HUMANS just a few days ago.

Humans can easily win on a 1 vs 1 if your a skilled human, in fact it even easier to win with hUmans on 1 vs 1 then more. reason for this? Simple, its all up to you, none of your teammates will feed the aliens, and only what you do will have a consequence.
