Even if you dont kill a tyrant or goon, keep trying. Someone else may kill it, and if its a tyrant, you could get anywhere from 100 to 500 evos or so.
As for aliens, dretch around a lot. You may just get a lucky break and land on a bsuit with 24 hp head.

I have no problem giving credits to someone who I know is good, and who just arrived. but people I don't know, I don't give credits too unless I'm like a tyrant with 9 evos or something.

what happens if you rush reac with a tyrant like 3 times lose all ur evos but are in 2nd place overall for kills... is it ok to beg for an evo then?

if you do that, you can probably earn your own again
that happened to me today
I even gave all 9 away just to stop my team from asking
and worked my way back up to rant again
all the time I was attacking structures
and I'm a really crappy player

but yeah if you are attacking the reac and dying
remember to stop and whittle them down instead of trying to be a hero
(try taking out turrets, repairmen and defenders - lol)
and since I will be there right with you attacking
I will know you are cool and give you some evos

also, asking once or twice isn't the same as camping a dretch while spamming constant begging, or repeatedly dying and asking for yet more evos

in other words, even if you are attacking structures, remember to stop and get a few kills or take out a node or two (they die easier than the reac)

You might not want to take out repairmen if their base is still up but under attack. You could just be resetting their build-timer for them.

It's just a case of whether you think you can take the base down now, or you think you should get evos first. Before I enter a base, I usually have a plan for what I'm going to do when I get there. If I just want evos (with alien), I'll jump around biting peoples heads off and leave structures alone. If I have plenty of evos, I'll jump around biting turrets and such without touching humans unless they're in my way.

That said, alot of what I do when I'm in their base is purely subconscious judgements about optimum routes and goals. This only happens when I've put myself in a situation I've little control over (something i do on purpose when I feel as though rambo can save the day).

I dislike share/donate/overflow.  Lowers the skill level of the game and makes it too much like an arcade game.  Its fun but not for every game.

I don't like the practice of "pumping" that's associated with it. You get 1 mega-1337 player who always maxes on evos/creds, so there's no real tactical problem with sharing for him. He shares his stuff with all the people who just aren't able to do it themselves, and they get all the great equipment on his dole.

Basically it's 1 player spawning a "dummy army", because, even though they don't play as well as he does, the 6 tyrants he raised all by himself are still difficult to argue with, it's kind of like buying bots to play alongside you.

You can blame the other team for sucking so bad that this guy gets so much go-juice, but it's still true that he doubly carries his team and sort of breaks the "team play" spirit.
