-1 means you don't have a connection to the master server, meaning you are probably blocked by a router's firewall.

especially if you are sharing a connection, you need to set up port forwarding for your computer.

Or, if you're talking about very recently, I understand the master server experienced some brief downtime, so the problem may not be at your end at all.

then its probably lag.

Look in the console, it should say how many servers it found, and how many timed out.

Turn off the p2p etc.

a new list of what?

I never use "Get New List". I always just "Refresh" with the same filters: No Empty, No Full. I'm probably going to one of the same six or seven semi-trusted servers I frequent anyway. When I want a new list, I change one of the two filters, and allow Empty or Full, and that has pretty much the same effect as getting a new list. It's been my experience (going back to Tribes1 and Unreal1) that that option sucks, because it sporadically does weird things like that. Refresh just works better. Every now and then, allow either full or empty or both. Purely anecdotal and totally unscientific, but that's just the nature of experience.

In other words, I'm just looking for servers with two-digit ping, who I'm not afraid of (either because of GUID-spoofing or over recent statements concerning Trojans), where they have somewhere between ten and 36 players on: OPP, BG, SST, D*S, (not that other public server which shall remain unnamed), and one or two trusted clanservers (from among a  constantly shifting amalgam of seven or eight candidates).

Yeah. Refresh!

P.S. I just wanna know what map SST is on anyway. It's probably not full. Or empty.

Got nothing to do with your Mac, this is a problem with your connection.  It sometimes happens when I lag or, more often, when I'm unexpectedly disconnected.

Im currently having problems with my Windows also. The EXACT same thing happens, and I dont think it's because of the connection. I can access anything else, just not Tremulous. It worked fine before.

I had this problem with the new TJW client for windows, but with the regular client I have no problems.
Clan {Jo|So} were clan {No|Shows} at todays war between them..

The Magma Warriors are pissed off you wasted our time, and I have decided I will DOS attack your server, I have a program for that. Unless you want to get your asses on, and do a 3 on 3 or 4 on 4.
