Changes in Beta 3:
  • more default spawns
  • lip in A base as per Rawr's request
  • cannons launch almost as high as celing now, swiping down jetards should be easier.
  • escape route for humans, in human bse... only usable with a jetpack
  • center cannon now has four entry ways

Diz,

Played the original, since it appeared at my favorite server. Was fun, frustrating, challenging, it made me think, I loved it, I hated it, I laughed, I cried, I chatspammed LOL. Glad to hear you added more zaniness, and a little chance for a poor dretch to live to get an evo before S3. Good luck with it. Enjoying watching it grow. <3 a nu map...

To Do List: (mine)
need to practice strafe-jump
need to practice bunny-hop
need to practice flick-pounce
need to get out of chair once a day (that'll happen)

This map is probably the worst map Tremulous has seen yet. It's worse than Highrise and that piece of shit watah. It was so retarded I deleted it so I would never have to see it again. I expected something mildly interesting and innovative but instead all I got was a couple badly textured boxes and some trigger_pushes.

Wait, are you that retarded moderator who really sucks and can only get kills by spamming and camping? I guess I can forgive this since you're probably 12 years old.

Pushcannon is a fun map for silly games, together with grangerrink, highrise and bumpergranger, etc. These are deliberately silly maps that are not intended for "serious" games.

Bah! Some people are just NEVER satisfied, are they!

...but yeah, plz make them bigger.

...and add particle effects when the cannons fire so they look more.. umm... cannon like.

Nice job. Played beta 2 on SST yesterday. Was a lot of fun flying around and trying to dretch humans out in the open, and ceiling granger, lol. Good humans can probably turn this into a Mass Drive shooting range, though. It was a refreshing change to play a map for fun, rather than playing it to win like most maps. Maybe put a cannon directly in the bases.... And add more cannons... lol

Depends on how you look at it.

Some maps are made as a joke, or just for fun, and they should probably be rated as such. This map is no worse than Granger-rink, which, is actually a good map. Foto also falls into this catergory.

Some maps are semi-serious, and are intended for some game-play, but were not intended purely as such. Say, highrise, or perhaps Watah.

Some maps were intended for serious gameplay, but fail miserably. We all know what these are. I am not mentioning names to avoid getting lynched.

Hey RDizzle,

You should make a new map and combine atcs and pushcannon together and call it Atcscannon.

The only thing is gonna be changed is the middle part of atcs and thats all.

It would become a very fun map and give aliens some chances of winning.

The Middle Part of atcs would have the whole pushcannon map. The bases at the end would be unchanged. The textures should match the textures of atcs.

But still work on the original pushcannon if you want to make this kind of map.
