New Tremulous Icon (Windows)
« on: August 08, 2007, 07:33:27 am »
Sick of the blocky black bug? No problem!

Based off of the Tremulous wallpaper here:
http://tremulous.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=5556&highlight=tremulous+wallpaper

It's 48 x 48 and it's a .ico file. Works best in Win XP, because it has alpha blending.

How to apply (Only on shortcuts eg. desktop or start menu, not the .exe file itself):

Changing The Shortcut Icon
1. right-click on the icon on the desktop.
2. click on 'Properties' button - see dialog.
3. click on the 'Change Icon' button
4. click on the 'Browse' button - see 'Open' Dialog.
5. change to the folder where you saved the .ico file
6. done!

Comments and suggestions would be appreciated. If you use this icon in vista on your desktop, if you're icons are configured to large, it may be sorta ugly. Please tell me if you want any other dimensions, or suggestions on how I can improve it.

Download link: http://www.trem-null.com/djsonik/tremulous.ico

Enjoy.

Oh. If you said Vector Graphics I would have got it, I forgot .svg was the extension. :P I'll see what I can do.

Here, I fixed it for you. Removed excessive nodes, and set the opacity to 100%. I hope you don't mind :).

This would look awesome as a trem icon. It seems to scale down well too.

Click the Download link to get an SVG version. That scales even better.
