I can't get any other weapons. >.< (Humans)

My friend said I needed 5 kills, I get 8, and go to the armory...

All I can get is Light Armor, Helmet, Grenades, Battle Suit, etc., everything but other weapons.

How do I get other weapons?

You have to sell your current weapon first. In the menu, select rifle and press sell or just double click the rifle.

Also, you don't necessarily need 5 kills to get a weapon. They all cost different amounts and the more you damage enemies the more money you will have to spend on stuff. A full dretch kill for example give 175 creds. This is more than enough for a shotgun.
