They are very good, no ads, decent space and bandwidth, great tech support. There is also www.solidclans.com I know the dude who operates that site, its also decent just gotta wait for him to manually make the account.

If you don't know html and CSS i suggest you learn it. Your site will look better and it isn't that hard at all. Some really good tutorials our there and you can't beat www.w3schools.com for a reference.

Actually, Nvu will get you started as a WYSIWYG editor with pretty good results.  It is cross platform, free and handles the ftp side of things if needed.

NVU is rather good, but learn HTML and CSS, theyre simple.

You could use Free Virtual Servers if you want somewhere good.
Theyre free option is good.

They also have a WYSIWYG editor too, though i dont use WYSIWYG, i use TEXTWRANGLER!!!
