Guys, I am putting out a new version of my HUD soon with some minor changes.  Any requests for the quote on the load screen? :D

Hey, I released a new version with some small improvements:

--- VERSION CHANGES (2.3) ---

- Added option to comment out fullscreen radar and return to default
- Added optional (commented out by default) crosshair dot
- Added stagekill information to the spectator hud
- Corrected width of MotD

You can now comment in/out the default radar as well as a crosshair dot.  Get the new version at my very fancy website here:

Sorry to necro my own topic, but I am going to have some spare time in the next week (home for spring break) and I'm considering making some minor revisions/additions to my HUD.

So, any requests? If it has to do with the basic layout of the HUD, then fire away but I probably won't budge. However, if it is a new feature or some other UI mod, I'm all ears. Is there something that competing HUDs have that mine doesn't?

Let me know what you think of the HUD and I'll decide whether it's worth it to come out with a new release.

Main thing I would want is a menu revision along the lines of the otickz hud. But if you don't want to bother with that, that's fine too

Also, it seems that the levelshot in the loading screen isn't 4:3, so it seems to stretch out the levelshot a bit. I'm just nitpicking, and it might also be becasue of my screen resolution (1280x800)

um...   can you make the stamina +health + ammo a tiny bit transparent.  they take up a wee bit of room that you cant see as well.  also, just something i liked from Mexel's -- and the derivation of ur HUD  --  Maybe put the health in on the right hand side edge, and move the weapon selector over to where the health was.

Hello! Indeed, an update to my HUD is not imminent When I wrote that post, I was working on a new version but I got distracted by "IRL" events. As of this post, I no longer play Tremulous regularly and I don't see myself updating the HUD in the foreseeable future. Sorry
