The Problem I have with this sort of kindness is the cluelessness of Cody.
He tries to cater to Clans by promising the leaders _SERVER_admin-rights, while talking about  giving them one channel and not the server.
So he and the clans might end up with loads of channels and SAs, perhaps from waring clans...

Do you see where that might lead to?

Any sane thinking person would not accept such an offer, except the notorious grievers.

Now I am not saying per se that Cody is such a griever as he is the one offering, but it still makes us suspicious...

Agreed. I can see what you mean Caveman, and I think that is a perfectly reasonable way of thinking, but you should probably just leave him alone to do his power hungry noob stuff... No real need to get involved.

My point of view is that he wants something back indirectly meaning hes expecting to be accepted in the clan hes hosting the server for or be a co leader.

heh, thats what I am already doing!  Actually I am hosting for Dretch*Storm but I also ofter channels to anyone who needs a clan channel, and this server is also up 24/7 but I am soon to move to a new server with my hosting community, and I will also be getting a TS license to host for other people.
