Confirmed aimbotter

Playing on Dretch*Storm. Unfortunately, level 0 players (like myself) are denied access to !listplayers, so all I know is the name (yeah, I know, big help).

The player's name was Marine.
Actually, the colors may have been the other way around.

He joined the server, joined the humans team, and said in global chat "n_aim 1". Obviously, he forgot the "/".
Then he started to get very good kills, as evidenced by a few people complaining about his skill.

After a while, noticing that no one had done anything about him (not even any references specifically about aimbotting) I called a kickvote. It failed to pass, but a couple of players on my team agreed that they believed he had an aimbot.

One of them (monkeyman) left the team and started speccing the aimbotter. I eventually left my team and joined the spectators to spectate the aimbotter myself.

Then I learned that another player (Prince something-or-other) had been spec'ing him as well. Both monkeyman and Prince agreed that Marine had most likely turned off his aimbot after the kickvote. His score at the time (something like 20 kills) obviously did not correlate with his poor skill exhibited in some of the demo which I will link farther down.

With the three of us agreeing, we called a kickvote on Marine again, which as you can see in the demo, succeeded.

I think that's about it.

You added nothing to this thread and quit being a shithead.  I don't mind these threads as it helps guage the current level of aimbots and as an admin don't mind seeing the names associated with aimbotters.  If he joins a server I admin, he will get my special attention.

Agreed. Since this forum doesn't allow ban disputes anymore, I don't really see what else it's useful for if not this. That's not to say that threads here are to be blindly trusted and their targets banned, but there's no harm in paying a bit of extra attention to questionable people. This guy WAS on Beergarden before and didn't do anything to make me question, but he was a dretch in s3 so I suppose even aimbots don't help you there.

Agreed, and a thread gives a heads-up to admins and in my case I may step out of playing a game to spec the individual in question.

So what about this Marine guy? All you know that one day a client joined some servers and said that "my name is currently Marine". That's it. Once he's banned (aka temp kicked), he'll keep aimbotting and changing his name and IP until all servers ban his whole ISP (or he gets bored).

Yyes and if this new forums are made then a lockedtopic with a list of known aimbotters names/i.p's so its easy for people 2 know the aimbotters.

Thats why someone should write a admin warning patch. Basically when someone comes into your server and their subnet matches someone on your ban list. It should pm admins to pay extra special attention to them.  I would write it but I don't know how. Bitch might do it when he isn't busy.

1. Yeah, I know, posting about an aimbotter without posting the GUID/IP is really lame. I fully realize that. Sadly, I don't have admin rights on this server, so there wasn't much I could do.

2. In light of these facts, I only posted for one reason: the idiot in question was stupid enough that he did not know how to properly input a command in the console. Taking that into account, it seems to me that he's also too stupid to change his name on other servers. Therefore, I thought it would be good to put a heads-up here on the forums.

Don't worry about it. Beerbastard agrees with you, and he's an old and respected player.  Caveman is just an arrogant bitch that harasses everyone.  You definitely don't need to carry an apologetic tone when talking to him.
