Nice HUD, Hell. I currently use it and think its great. I really like the red for humans, although blue for aliens took a couple days to get used to.

I am no longer working on this HUD since i'm creating a new one (which is a bit different).. Don't ask me when and if i'll release it, though  :wink:  :D

open your autogen.cfg and type:

bind whatever_key_you_want "seta cg_hudfiles ui/hellrider.cfg; vid_restart; echo ^1Hellrider's HUD loaded"

um.. I can't get it to run. It says "can't find ui/hellrider.cfg using defeault". What does that mean, and how do I fix it?

In your tremulous base folder, create a new folder called ui and put the hud in there, then run trem up and try again.

there is a ui folder. unless i'm supposed to put it in the .tremulous one.. why did the installer make two?

in both. one is in the .tremulous, the other in the tremulous.  Now its not giving the error message, but there is no hud. nvm, messed up the file name in the autogen.cvg. its fine now.

damn i habe problems with the hud cause its not work!!!But i did all like the readme !! ???       which folder got i to copy and in which folder in base?

Wrong answer, but you made me have a cool idea.. Post a screenshot and guess the settings used in it  ;D
THis time will be easy, it is /r_lightmap 1 and a simple /r_gamma 2  ;D

sry @ Volt but "de" stands for germany  ;D and the problem is that there is the error that ui/hellrider.cfg is not found! ???

I started reading this link which is quite useful even though it's for Quake 3, then i started looking at some simple HUD like Warrior's for example which is quite easy to understand..

Then you need some creativity and some spare time to spend learning how to make your own  ;) ;D

Copy the files inside your base/ui folder, open autogen.cfg (or autoexec) and change the value cg_hudfiles as written in the first post..
