ERROR: invalid name, check ur color codes

i was connecting to akka trem server, when at the awaiting connection part, i get the error stated in the title, it does not quit to the main menu, the error shows up in the connecting screen. whats going on

It means your name has illegal color code sequences, ie ^ followed by an out-of-range color character. Reset your name to something simple if you can't figure it out.
