Ok, i've tried to get GUID and the first time i got it, it worked perfectly. I got admin easily. No drama's with anything.
Then it just stuffed up - I click, join aliens or humans click rifle/dretch, etc. then it comes up with the ''This surface is too unstable to build on. Move the building indicator until it turns green''
or the
''You must wait until your build timer expires until you can evolve'' So what i had to do was re-install trem.
I played it again (without GUID) and it worked fine. I thought it would just be a common error. So i went back to the tremport and got GUID - moved it to my trem folder, overwrited, etc.
Ok, so the problem should be fixed now right.... Wrong - it still comes up with the build message. :evil: So i have to repeat the re-install process. Try GUID again - doesn't work.
Mmmmk, now i'm thinking ''What the hell!? No-one else get this problem'''
I currently have tremulous working without GUID and i keep getting asked to get it so they can admin me and they don't understand that i can't.
I've asked around with my friends and also on trem but no-one can explain whats wrong or what to do.
So... to conclude my massive post - Is there anyone out there who can help me fix this problem??

EDIT: I checked all the other GUID problems in tremulous.net and i've tried the solutions suggested but nothing has fixed it.
Oh, and just to let you know, mines not only with |SST| it's with all servers except GameArena Tremulous (all numbers) don't know why that is - could it be because i'm from Australia - but i went on Aussie Arena (oLz.TheSmith's server) and it didn't work. Sooo.... please help.
