GUID problem..

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum

Allright, the problem is,

I downloaded the exe from http://trem.tjw.org/backport/ and everything worked fine, I was able to get a protected nickname on some servers but I did that with my ununique GUID, let's call it 1a1.
Now if I set my GUID to unique, it will be 1b1, and that's the problem, now I can't join those servers with my nickname that is protected.
Protected nickname requires GUID: 1a1 (qkey?)
I want to join with GUID: 1b1 (qkey?)

Is it possible to still have my protected nickname and somehow change something so I can join those servers with my unique GUID instead of the ununique one?

you need to ask the admins of that server to !setlevel your old guid to 0 and your new guid to 1, or just use a slightly different name for a while.
