The computer I'm trying to install Trem on has the following specs:

nVidia GeForce 5200, 128 MB of RAM, PCI (NOT PCI-E) video card
AMD Athlon64 3000+
GIGABYTE motherboard with nVidia nForce3 chipset
1 gigabyte of RAM
300 GB hard drive

etc.

Any help with getting it to run?  Or is the video card just too slow/old/crappy?  Or do I need to get new drivers or something?

Sounds like you don't have the right drivers -- a 5200 can play Tremulous.

Get them from nvidia.com

Thanks, worked great.

One more question--will Trem run on an nVidia 4000?

If my answer to your problem doesn't seem helpful, it means I won't help you until you show some effort to fix your problem yourself!
1.2.0 release's been delayed for 5:48:00 already because of stupid questions.
