why would I type "/!<cmd>" if I can type /<cmd> or !<cmd>
Why would I type /<cmd> or !<cmd> when I can use F5 (bind F5 !listplayers)
need to press t for talk and then can enter !listplayers, but I need to press "Alt Gr" + "~" for console and type an extra slash, therefore typing it as public command is a lot easier. And a namelog about a specific player makes those player behave much more friendly, because he then knows that you are watching him.
soultcer I don't know what kind of computer you have, but try /bind F5 "!listplayers;toggleconsole".
So writing !listplayers is the tremulous way of sayin that one is on a higher level. remember that people like me don't even have guids. lol, from now on, you'll hear me spamming !listplayers every 60000msec.
and !specme is very useful for admins
Uhm, WHY is !specme useful for admins?
These are both useful commands for admins and players alike. The exclamation was chosen as the command prefix because it is quick to type (especially if you are using a WASD layout) and normally only used at the end of a sentence.
Taiyo, do you use your right pinky? Buttons go like this: , . /
I find it unusual that in a game in which many dimwitted players repeatedly flood excessively coloured chat binds, you are annoyed by the relatively low frequency that !listplayers and !specme are used.
They're not as boring as !listplayers, [RELOADING], and other useless shit. Maybe most players aren't annoyed by this spam is cuz they have peanut brains and can't pay attention to the chat. Those are usually the gamecocking killwhores.
ShadowNinjaDudeMan, I have no fucking idea what you've just said.
If everyone likes the !blabla things, the server should just keep away from displaying the written commands. Voala.
And even on top of that, people should have a client side client listing function.
PS: do you really think I'm angry?
