why was I banned on Pure tremulous?

Hello all,
My brother and I discovered trem earlier this sumer, and while we've made some n00b mistakes (base naded once by accident) we've never even sworn at other players in game, and I think we've been fairly decent players, and have (if mostly unknown) decent names.

But the other day when my brother was playing on the pure tremulous server, the admin there (MG Paper_Cut) said "Nice wallhack bk" (bk standing for my brothers name, The Black Knight) my brother had no idea what a wall hack was, and the next thing he knew he had been banned from the server for 52 weeks.
2 things

1 what is a wallhack?  we have no idea how to aimbot, and haven't even figured out how to make downloaded maps work. I have no idea what a wall hack is, and I assure you I don't have the technical skill necessary to use it if it involves base code. nor does my brother.

2 how can I clear this up?
My brother and I have never been banned from any server prior to this incident, and we've rarely been kicked, and never for aimbotting or wallhacking (whatever that is)
I would very much like to resolve this misunderstanding and continue to play on pure tremulous.

No worries man, just find a new server to play on.

Being called a cheater on Tremulous now is like someone saying that the sky is usually blue.

It's a right-of-passage thing.

However, 52 weeks is a year. Without any previous Notification or incidents that is pretty harsh.

In a way it was good, because I discovered the SST tremulous server. And thank you imperium, it kinda helps to know that it's normal to have misunderstandings like that. I was a little upset because I was put in the same category as people who actually cheat and wreck games.
(I wondered if that was the normal ban time.) But anyhow, I have successfully appealed it on the MG forums and the ban has been removed

this would be the one where you or you brother or whoever was camping the turrets on atcs as S1 MDing into the hallway at a dretch behind the corner, i speced the dretch and told him to move down the wall, he did and you started Mding the bottom of the wall where it moved to.

As unlikely as it may sound to you, it must have been a coincidence. Aliens always hide around the corner in ATCS anyway, so looking in that direction is hardly a capital crime. Besides which, we don't cheat. It's stupid to cheat, especially on a server that has a zero tolerance policy for that sort of thing. And all you have to do is check our record with other admins, and you'll know that we've never done that sort of thing. The record will speak for itself.
