Can't run my server... help please!

Hi there!

I'm trying to set up my own server. I followed step by step the "How To Make A Server (or, Using TJW's Server in Windows)" sticky but can't make it work properly...

- Have downloaded all files provided in the sticky and checked again and again they are placed correctly.

- Have opened the 32123 port in my router.

- Have switched to an static ip.

- Have reinstalled Tremulous.

However, when I run tremserver.bat i still get this error:

I have read all the sticky and tried everything but just can't make it work

go back and read the sticky, and this time follow the directions.

More specifically, check to see:

A) You have a tremded.exe that matches the game.qvm it was compiled for.

B) You don't have any shady vms-blah.pk3's hanging around the base folder of the Tremulous installation you're hosting off of.

I deleted a file called vms-1.1.0.pk3 and the error I said before didn't appear. However, now it says that:

Server Shutdown (Server fatal crashed: VM_Create on game failed)

How can I solve that?

If you're running Windows then give my app a try.

It does most of the "complicated" things for you.

Before you use it, make sure you delete C:\Program Files\Tremulous\tremded.exe (Asuming you installed trem to the default directory and placed the server in it)

This will make TSM automatically install all the server files into the correct places in case you messed something up.
