Tremulous on Slackware 10.2 SDL / GXL Problem

I'm unable to start tremulous on Slackware 10.2, And after 7 hours I'm starting to go nuts about it.

Most people probably would have given up already. I'm quite ready to throw my monitor out from the window now. :}

Could use some help!

can you switch X resolution to 640x480 manual ?

Try setting 'r_colorbits' to '16' in the config file. (~/.tremulous/base/autogen.cfg save a backup copy)

Hmm It works fine on my slack 10.0 laptop :S

I'm going to reinstall Slack to my desktop after installing xp to it.
