Contacting Tremulous Developers
« on: October 06, 2007, 02:14:33 am »
I looked on the site, but i couldn't find any way to email, or otherwise communicate with the Tremulous developers. I had a question about using part of their code for the mod i am making, http://mods.moddb.com/8361/antigravity/
also, my actual username is laserpanda. I'm on someone elses because i failed at typing the captcha too many times so i couldn't register. (I didn't know it only meant the white letters  :( )

Isn't "antigravity" a mod for UT2004?

It was, however after we realized that there just wasn't a way to make wallwalking work properly and still have an enjoyable game, We decided on an engine change.

Wallwalking in the q3 engine can suck too, because bounding boxes cannot be rotated. Unless you do something very clever indeed, only cubic player entities will be able to wallwalk.

edit: it should be mentioned that what I say applies to Tremulous, and I'm not entirely sure q3 is restricted in the same way. Probably is, though.
