about demo

hi

i'd like to know if there is a command to playback, pause, slowmotion cut etc...
well, how can you edit a demo and keep only some parts ?
cause if you look a demo and you press any key, the demo is stopped and when the demo lasts 15min..... you have to see it from the beggining again :/
