Known harmless bug nobody knows how to reproduce. If you find out how to reproduce it, write it to bugzilla and we'll fix it.

i'm pretty sure it's because i noclipped and put the reactor in a closed area.

Does it happen each time you do that? If not, it's not enough to find the real cause of this bug.

Well. As far as I know this happens with me when I pounce a lot with a goon/adv goon near a whole lot of teslas. Pretty sure its starting to happen after a lag spike. After that when you are charging your jump, you can see tesla beam coming out of you in the direction of your crosshair.

it happens to me a lot in that situation, same thing with trampling a lot around teslas.

I used it in rotcannon with the reac and the cannon that zaps humans if it is closed.
