I'm not fond of the idea that Aliens view the world exactly like humans do....

I know this is possible through DirectX, thanks to a "mod" for Morrowind that did this through editing how the game handles DirectX (probilby possible with OpenGL too), but wouldnt be cool if the Aliens viewed the world "inverted" in colors, or viewed it in a blue-ish night-vision like view?  Or atleast somthing different than typical colors/look through a human's eyes.  What the mod for Morrowind did was allow several types of filters, such as a night-vision filter, a rainbow-filter, an emboss filter, amoung others, that would go over what you were currently looking at.


I also think that all aliens should have a dretch like FOV, and the dretch (due to bigger eyes) should have an almost panoramic FOV.  This could be the exception for some aliens though, depending on thier eye placement.


It would also be neat if you got a "helmit" border around your hud when you wore a helmit.  Similarly when you have a Bsuit, you should get a robotic-camera look for the view, with MABEY a smaller FOV?

That would be VERY cool. And it always bugged (no pun intended) me that the dretch has a large FOV but the granger has it's eyes on the side of it's head and has a normal FOV.

Bigger FOV makes it harder to aim.
f you have a demo of ass-kicking basilisk playing against experienced opponents, ESPECIALLY in later stages, send it to me.

Aliens dont wield wepoans, and besides, in the future when they get their own arms for aiming and stuff modeled, aiming wont be a huge issue for Aliens.
