i mad a mod that changes some alien models for the hell of it.

Is there a way for me to just put it in tremulous/base and see it on any server?

Usualy i need to just put it on a server and i can see it only on that server

I thought .pk3 file were always loaded, even on other servers, if they do not contain any code...

I think the server has to have Pure Server disabled.

afaik unpure servers (having sv_pure set to 0) allow you to overwrite textures/models/sounds as client.
a server operator using this setting will very likely not consider such behavior cheating.
