Ideas for a 'pop-up' rail turret for the humans?

Just an idea ...
This is essentially i high cost alien/machine class, and its main role is to counter excessive camping by:
a) Firing its extremely hard ass laser (railgun)
b) Ramming people at high speed using afterburners & spikes
c) Nuking clusters of people/bases using the onboard thermal nuke (to make things fair you should have to give 10s notice to use it, which would countdown to 0 and detonate)

At low speeds, this unit is sluggish to turn at best, but at speed it goes straight.
