I assume you mean pic size.  The actual signature character limit on the other hand sucks donkey testicles and needs to be a tad higher, methinks.  My own sig isn't that long at all but doesn't fit in the character limit because I like to format stuff a lot.  Bleh.

I think its only going to escalate until someone starts taking screen shots of entire threads and using it as a sig..  This is why signatures need to not allow images in them, and have a character limit. Avatars that are scaled to a size and forced to be under a certain filesize to load and hosted externally are a suitable replacement.
