HELP A NEW PLAYER!

iv been playing tremulous an i see all these people with all these weapons but i cant figure out how to get anything beside a balster or a rifle...please tell me how i can get theother weapons in the game like the mass driver and pulse rifle and lucifer cannon.thank you

Sell your old weapon and buy a new one

By selling old weapons at the armory, then buying new things at the very same building.
This is done by walking up to it and pressing 'Q' if you use the deafult controls.

the manual doesn't tell how to get a new weapon but instead of posting it here just try asking in game (press t type you message and then press enter)

2.2.1 Weapons

Humans may spawn with either the Construction Kit or the Rifle. As credits are earned, humans may sell their old upgrades and purchase new ones at an Armoury structure[/u].

2.2.3 Structures

To use an Armoury, approach it and press the Use Structure/Evolve button.

a) he already went awol/mia/out-for-cigarettes, over two weeks ago

b) can't he just read the screen, where in tut mode it clearly sez press friggin' Q?

c) can't he just watch other players magically get weapons from the big green box?

d) can't we enjoy his lack of astuteness for our own self-congratulatory purposes?

e) he's prolly at an Armoury right now, trying to refill his blaster

f) either that or he's standing next to one, frantically spamming "sumbuddy drop a weapon plz!!!"

A Short Tutorial on Human Weapons
0) start up trem & join a server
1) spawn as a human
2) kill bugs, get money
3) give money to big green box
4) repeat step 2, hopefully w/ increased efficiency
5) yeah, now repeat step 3, mo' $$$ >
6) oh yeah press Q liek it sez on teh screen, duh...
7) try not to die lol
sunglasses smiley face, ur making gud progress
9) ur on ur own kid, & teh fate of the whole human etc.
10) in short: :evil: , $$$>, = big gunz, :evil: ,
