Resolution problem
« on: October 28, 2007, 05:31:35 pm »
Got the game, looks really nice, still don't know my arse from my elbow but I'll learn how to play in good time.

I upped the resolution of the game and now I cannot move the mouse pointer; it's stuck in the top left corner.

Is there a way to default the game? I cannot shoot things with no mouse.

Doesn't work. It makes a sound but doesn't change any of the settings. Only the up and down arrow keys work.

Can you still open the console?

Enter this:
Code: [Select]
/r_mode 3

This sets the default resolution for tremulous, hopefully your mouse will work again and you can try setting your res again.

Thank you for the replies, they worked well.

I did some further digging and basically this problem occurs if you use or run Compiz Fusion.

To avoid further annoyances I just default my Compiz settings then the game runs fine. This isn't too much work and I don't think anyone should complain about having problems with Compiz and Tremulous, you can't have it all.

Cheers guys.

SOLVED.
