Crosshair Gone

I have 2 pcs: mine and my bros. i have a usb with trem on it as well, which i play on my pc. my bros has trem installed on it. i installed mexels hud on my usb while it was plugged into my bros pc. so my bros pc-trem and my usb-trem both have mexels hud. i unplug my usb, and my bros pc goes spaz coz it cant find mexels hud. so i uninstall mexels hud on the pc and everythings cool, till my bro discovers the next day he has no crosshair. he tryed an uninstall then reinstall and it didnt work. what can he do? (btw, he has no account on these forums)

in the console gives you the default Tremulous hud back.
