I'm writing the story, but my english is far not perfect enough to translate everything properly, so I'd need help for that. so if anyone is in the mood, and will have some time for it (like half year later), i'd rly appreciate that ^^

ty all for support, picture in colors will be ready probably this week.

+OPTI+: I'd love to help. Let me know. Whenever. These things take time. See you in six months. Groove on, dude. Color would be cool to see, but I also like the timeless flavor of B&W. Peace out. Comix, scifi & shooterz rule. l8z

actually it's an exact quote but I'm too lazy to go back and find the thread but it was one of those Mac discussions where I digressed and wrote a long run-on sentence and totally lost your... _Equi_? _Equi_? (snaps fingers) over here, man (sheesh)

I think it was more than one sentence, which is usually the point at which your eyes glaze over and you get that faraway look in your eyes and...

well it depends...

if i can fight trough my way with this project in school, i will make my final work for diploma with it. in this case, it should be ready by the end of spring.
but i doubt that my old fag teachers would like to see chompin' and shootin' and stuff at the university's exhibitions ^^ it depends on them.

if not, i will start it at summer, but the interactive structure will be ready with the diploma anyway.
apart from the interactive part, i need to make the animations of atcs, some 3D model of weapons and alien classes, then to make it's textures and line animation again manually form frame-by frame prints (like 15drawings/sec), plus all the drawings of all the scenes, painting backgrounds, co-operate with a translator, finding music and sound FX, adding the video SFX and other stuffs.
if i start at summer, it can be ready till august or smthng like that.

btw i dont really know what does 'cheesy' means in this case, but as i can imagine the hot cheese stretching on a pizza, i would say you're talking about the time of making ^^

I assumed that it meant something along the lines of

weird, freaky, odd, strange, unpopular, nerdy, etc.

and pretty much is a good summary of my attitude.

just for your information...and i take no offense from it though it could be taken offensively

Like I expected, this has very little to do with Tremulous. Moved to Off-Topic.

Like I expected, this has very little to do with the community members and other moderators opinion. (as seen in other threads, votes, etc.)

I understand your point of view, but shitting others democratic solution straight in the face is something that i don't find sexy.

It will be boring for both of us to move every single thread to OT what i make when i come up with a new sketch. The nicer version would be to keep only one in GD that i can update occasionally.

This thread is not meant to be your personal diary. I already expected your Tremulous drawing would result in a thread very little do with Tremulous, but I gave you the benefit of the doubt, deemed myself wrong and moved it back to GD.
Surprisingly, my inital reaction was correct and the thread deteriorated into some Off-Topic babbling.
Nothing is wrong with Off-Topic babbling, but as the name suggests, it belongs in Off-Topic.

Now, I know that you are a rather egocentric person and that you will most likely take this as a personal matter, along the lines of 'Lava Croft does not like me and therefore moves my threads to Off-Topic', but I can assure you this is not the case.

The 'personal diary' was a reply to posts, and it wasn't a necro, since the cheesy guys dug up the thing's bones.
Making a 'to-do-list' is not anything personal, but strictly connected to the topic - while i'm sorry to mention my diploma. And more, looking at the things needed, maybe some reader folks can help me with special parts (like they did and sent me ATCS that i could open in 3Ds Max and be able to make renders of it, and probably some american/english guys like p1 offered, can help me to use proper english in that).

I don't take your acts as a personal threat, I just say you are overreacting your duty, while sacrificing you dignity to show-off against all the other people who said GD should make place for fan-art.

first, forgive my impudenc but what do you mean by necro?

second, how were the bones "Dug Up", as you put it, for i saw there was a small jump in posts(november 23 to december 10) when i replied(sometimes i can't login for a loooooong while), but other than that it looked pretty much replied to every day...

just asking,

and opti, if you need translation/proof-reading for this project, i suggest getting many people to help, like a committee of those who offer their help to do so.

I also offer my help, though Translation(unless its german,) i cant do while error check and the such, i can do.I also understand if you don't need my help, or you arent going to do this fo a while, but if you choose to do this then contact me. thanks.

nehh btw NOW the thread is OT, so here we go.

----------------------------

@MMechanic

the "necro" thing was only for The Lovercraft.
about the translation: I will make version with my kinky english, and a hungarian version at the same time, then Tycho will translate that. After that, you, p1 or other language magicians can rearrange all to get the perfect english feeling - we should prefer dudes with native english.

I didn't know about the stephen king movie, at least not with this title, sry.
