I just applaud the people with useful posts (Lava Croft, PIE, etc.) and smite the unuseful posters (n00b pl0x, all his imposters that are still posting, etc.) and all I use Karma for is telling who is a good admin/forum member or one who spams a lot and always says bad stuff about people or just in general is a noob.
