Karma by a long shot. The word "1337" isn't funny. At all. Even a tiny bit.

You just some guys who doesn't know shit and thus can't change anything.
The _site_ has not changed. The forum has changed, nothing more.

if you read the appropriate stuff, you would know someone's already working on porting the old style to the new forum engine

I do, sometimes.
It's just that I am (usually) the first responder when people post w/o using their brains.
In this case it's "just" that the OP (namely you) bragged about something he can do, being unaware that "site" encompasses the whole of tremulous.net whereas he was meaning just a fraction of it (this forum).
And thus disqualifying himself as a wannabe without a clue.

You just might come around to, that if you really know what you are bragging about, you wouldn't make such a blatant error.

Hence the bash, because you can't do what you thought you can.

Sorry, I can only draw from what you write/wrote and that does look often like you either have no clue or are learning-resistant to say the least.
Just have a look over your last few topics, you draw flag in nearly all of them. And not only from me.

The skin is just a matter of time.. this isn't the final skin.. this is the skin SMF came with and we are using until someone has time to make a tremulous one.
And according to Blackle darker colored backgrounds save an insignificant amount of energy :)
Actually a ton of people use LCD monitors now, which actually use more energy producing black because it has to cover up the backlight... amount of energy though is still mostly insignificant.. the brightness after a long day of working on the computer though doesn't help my eyes any.

Karma can possibly mean something once it levels out.. post count and names generated from it aren't particularly important or meaningful.

I rather liked the old forum skin.

The new smilies are totally lame.

There are also the new formatting options, which could be used rather obnoxiously if one were so inclined.

If you press CTRL-A, it's much easier to read all those hard-to-read words, since it will most likely select everything and inverse the colors, kind of.

I like the whole "setup" of this forum, i.e. karma,  ;)

But I liked the old "skins" a lot better, seemed to go a lot better with the whole theme.
