Admins can do with their servers as they please.
That being said my personal opinion is he acted like an ass. Not much one can do about it, find a better server.

In this case, it wasn't the server owner. That's the only reason I'm questioning his actions, is because he was an Admin that the server owner granted privledges to, and may not approve of this particular admin behaving this way. So I'm handling this with as much effort as is feasable towards keeping the Admin's identity anonymous to make sure I'm not over-reacting before contacting the server-owner.

Only real chance is that whoever runs the server will check here, other way is to let people know, so they can avoid trigger happy admin servers.

IMO, you might have fared better if you were a bit more patient and asked permission or got clarification before jumping back into the game.  You complained and then jumped right back in the game right away which is a sign that you are going to make trouble for the admin.

I'm sure the owner would side with the admin.  If you want to end this situation well, I'd suggest just playing on the server, being a good citizen, and dropping it.

Or start your own server and have a hand at being an admin and see what a pain it can be for them.    (not that I have been an admin myself... I wouldn't want the hassle!)

Yes the admin was over reacting and shouldn't have put you on the spectators, If you where about to time out it would have been faster to let you time out, and the fact that you could hold a conversation showed that it was just a temporay lag spike that would stop soon, I'm prety sure that by the end of the conversation the spike had subsided.

Putting you to the spectators team for lagging was uncalled for, kicking for complaining is worse.  I'll talk to this admin.  Partially my fault for not getting around to posting any admin rules yet.

For future reference there's a forum linked to from the http://trem.tjw.org/ site that would probably be a better venue for reporting admin abuse.

Again, purposefully chose not to directly contact anyone on this one, tjw.  I've done my share of bad behaviour by accident, or broken server rules somewhere without realizing it before that often I err on the side of caution before rushing to server-owners with complaints. Especially since I have Aspergers, so what I think is abusive may be me being overly-sensitive. And what I think is chaotic but relatively harmless banter may be abusive to most people.

Not really a joke. More like sarcasm. But I mean it as well though.

Anyways, people do whatever they want to do. Only thing you can do is deal with it some way. Decide on your own what you're gonna do about the admin.
