WTF?????? HELP ME *Apple Mac*

i cant use gtkradiant (i have a mac) it tells me that synapse.config isnt there when it is. to make sure i got it right synapse.config is in trem folder wich is in the gtkradient 14 folder synapse.config was a text document but i took away the .txt exstension and left it with the .config exstension it looks like a piece of paper with the corner folded down.

is all of this right??

First i have to ask.. what kind of mac? ppc or intel, next, to get it to work on my mac i downloaded the macradiant 1.5 from http://tremmapping.pbwiki.com/ download what version you want there... but than i downloaded ingars 1.4(5)? linux build which has all the files installed, but than finally i used this script to finalize it all... use terminal to run it
