yet another quesiton about demos...

is it possible to search for chat messages inside demos? or simply show all of the chats?
(yes, i mean without loading the demo inside trem xD)
i've got 5.4G of automatically-recorded demos and i'd like to search through them for the ones that are worth watching ^^
another thing i'd like to do is to cut demos, but it seems like recording an avi is the only option there..

(not sure if this is the right area for this, but... i hope it is *g*)

I'm not sure about searching for specific chat messages in recorded demos.

As for cutting demos, convert them to a common video format and use some form of video editing software to cut them to size. If you've got Windows XP SP2, you should have Windows Movie Maker automatically installed on it. You could probably use that for simple video editing, if you want to add effects or link video segments.

I am pretty sure this exact same question was asked and answered not even 5 days ago.
Anyways you can't search inside a demo, not even when you play it.
The only way to get all the chat is to play the demo and do a /consoledump

As for the recording and editing, try google with "fraps"
